On Monday 11 May, Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari endorsed the appointment of Mohammed Bello Shehu as Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) Secretary.
Shehu ‘s appointment as RMAFC secretary will come into effect from Tuesday, May 19, and for an initial five-year first term.
President also approved the appointment of Bitrus Chinoko as Center for Management Development (CMD) director-general, Lagos. Chinoko was in an acting capacity at the CMD before his appointment, The Nation reports.
The approval of the president for both appointments was confirmed in a statement signed and published on Monday 11 May by Willie Bassey, the information director in the Federation’s Secretary’s Office of Government.
Thestatement reads in part: “President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the following new appointments: Mohammad Bello Shehu as Secretary, Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) for initial first term of five years with effect from 19th March 2020.
